How long have you been working at VIDEOTON Bulgaria?

Since 13/06/2006

„Professional growth begins where challenges arise“

After graduating from the Technical University of Varna, I joined the VIDEOTON Bulgaria team as a Process Engineer. At that time, a major new project for the automotive industry was being launched (the production of wiring harnesses for ABS systems), and many employees were being recruited for various positions. This provided me with the opportunity to start working here as a young specialist. In the beginning, I supported senior colleagues from the Technology Department on already transferred production lines, which allowed me to build solid hands-on experience within the project in a relatively short time. Just a few months later, I was sent to Hungary to take an active role in the transfer of one of the assembly lines. The work was challenging, engaging, and fast-paced, and it allowed me to prove myself while continuously expanding my knowledge. Only a year later, this journey led me to the next step - taking on the role of project manager.

In 2008, I found myself at the threshold of my next professional challenge. Following the company’s decision to launch a printed circuit board assembly project “VEAS” (VIDEOTON Electronic Assembly Services) in Bulgaria, I was entrusted with its leadership. As Project Manager, I guided the initiative through every stage - from redesigning and adapting new facilities, through the transfer and installation of machinery and equipment, to the successful launch of PCB production for a diverse portfolio of international clients. Eight years later, I stepped into the roles of Production Manager and Deputy Director - responsibilities I continue to embrace to this day.

Looking back, nearly two decades after my first professional steps, I clearly realize that perseverance and an unrelenting thirst for new knowledge, together with my experience as a Process Engineer and Project Leader, have helped me navigate successfully the many challenges and responsibilities I face in my daily work. The choice of profession may have been somewhat predetermined - I followed in the footsteps of my parents, who are also engineers, and even my father’s entire professional career has unfolded here. But that was only the beginning, the initial direction; the “path” and the “journey” along it depend on you - on your proactivity, your desire to grow and to prove yourself, every single day.

I fully realize that, in my case, being part of a well-established international company such as VIDEOTON also plays an important role. This undoubtedly provides many development opportunities and creates a sense of stability and security. Moreover, working in a large team and the mutual support within it unquestionably contribute to your own growth as a professional. But dedication and perseverance are also required, because with every difficulty you overcome or problem you solve, you develop further. Professional growth begins where challenges arise.
